On behalf of the dedicated members of the Miami Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., it is my pleasure to welcome you to our virtual home. I am hopeful that you will learn a little more about who we are and what we do in Miami-Dade County. It is also my desire to have you visit this website often as it will contain information you will need to remain current on our chapter events.

 

The Founders of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. were determined to chart a path of equal rights for all people and applied the full measure of their considerable talents to make a difference. They saw future opportunities in current challenges! Because of their determination, we are all beneficiaries of their brave actions. Miami Alumnae members are true examples of the lifetime commitment made to this great sisterhood as we continue the legacy of our Founders. We, just as our Founders, are transforming lives and impacting communities through comprehensive programs and initiatives.

 

The Miami Alumnae Chapter has served the Miami-Dade community for over eighty years through projects and programs that are aligned with the sorority’s national Five-Point Programmatic Thrust-Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Political Awareness, Physical and Mental Health-which is designed to educate and empower the community. It is my hope that you will view the chapter’s calendar, purchase tickets and support our community events.
